On June 23 in Kyiv zoo national mobile operator Kyivstar launched first tour of express “Family traditions of live nature”. From now on all zoo visitors can become its passengers and learn about unique family traditions of zoo inhabitants during exciting excursion. Cognitive program “Family traditions of live nature” is the next step of Kyivstar and Ukrainian zoos cooperation.

On April 28^th, 2007 Kyiv Zoo and national mobile operator Kyivstar opened new season of collaboration within National Ukrainian Zoos Support Program. The motto of program is «All family together to Zoo with Kyivstar»!

On the 4^th of October in Kyiv Zoo took place an action, devoted to International Animals Protection Day, within national program «Kyivstar: nature within reach». The aim of another social initiative is to draw attention of society to problems of animal protection.

On 27^th of August within «Kyivstar: Nature within reach» project took place giraffes’ birthday celebration in Kyiv Zoo. Ace, Base and Djuice appeared in municipal zoo last year. Celebration became one of the most outstanding events of this year, ’cause amusing entertaining program was prepared for all Zoo guests — friends of three exotic animals.

Title sponsor of Ukrainian National and Youth football teams hands over additional award to players of National team within Ukrainian football support program «Your country. Your football. Your Kyivstar». Igor Litovchenko, Kyivstar president, passed certificate on 2 525 000 UAH and symbolic heart of Ukrainian fans to Grigoriy Surkys, FFU president. Football support program goes on till the end of current year.

2—9th of April VI Serge Lifar International Ballet Contest took place on the stage of Ukrainian National Opera .

Leader of mobile communications market Kyivstar Company, as a Title sponsor of National and Youth Ukrainian football teams, initiates multilevel long-term all-Ukrainian program — «Your country. Your football. Your Kyivstar». Program is devoted to support of our football team at World Cup 2006 in Germany. Due to this program millions of Ukrainians have an opportunity to join actively to exciting events of World Cup, to support Ukrainian team and inspire it to victory!

Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) and national mobile operator Kyivstar Company declared beginning of the partnership within which Kyivstar Company rendered sponsor help to national and youth football teams of Ukraine and achieved status of the Title sponsor.

Last year Kyivstar Company and Kyiv Zoo signed the collaboration treaty according to which leading national mobile operator annually during three years gives 200 000 UAH to municipal zoological gardens for reconstruction and improvement. Last year due to the Kyivstar support, giraffe’s lodgement was repaired, this year due to Kyivstar — new inhabitants appeared in Kyiv Zoo.

On 10^th of June took place solemn ceremony of «Taxes as viewed by children» contest winners rewarding. Kyivstar Company became the official sponsor of contest, granting mobile handsets, start packs and balance recharge cards to 12 winners of the contest.

On April 11, a comprehensive communications program — «UKRAINE IS THE HEART OF EUROPE» started. This program is designed and will be carried out by Eurovision-2005 Song Contest’s International Sponsor and International mobile operator Kyivstar.

On February 26 Ukrainian National mobile operator «Kyivstar» has become the Official International Mobile Operator and the International Sponsor of the «Eurovision» song contest, according to the signed corresponding agreement with the organizer of the competition — the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The sum of the sponsor’s package of the «Kyivstar» Company constitutes 1, 900 000 Euros.

«Kyivstar» Company programs, realized with the assistance of «Brand New» PR-agency, were marked off with special rewards of Ukrainian National Prize in the field of BTL and PR-projects «Golden PROpeller». Ukrainian sportsmen supporting program at Olympic Games-2004 in Athens «Mobile Ukrainian Team» received prize for innovation, all-inclusiveness and creativity. Social supporting project of handicapped children and children-orphans «Together we will win», which Ukrainian Olympians participated in, was marked off in particular. It was declared to be the best social project of 2004.

On 2^nd of August «Mobile Ukrainian team» project took off — complex support program of Ukrainian sportsmen during Olympic games, created and implemented by Kyivstar, Official Mobile Operator of Ukrainian National Olympic team.

On the 8th of April 2004 the Vice President of the Ukrainian National Olympic Committee Mykola Kostenko and the Kyivstar company President Ihor Lytovchenko signed the partnership agreement.
