Mobile TV is an opportunity to watch music video, movies and cartoons, sport events and in the nearest future — usual TV channels directly at phone’s display. At the same time one doesn’t need to download video-content to phone’s memory, picture appears in few seconds after content choice.
Choice of video-content is done at wap.djuice.com.ua and wap.starport.com.ua in «Mobile TV» section. In «TV channels» subsection user can watch different TV-channels, in «Video» — the most interesting video from «Music», «Jokes», «Sports», etc.
In order to visit wap.djuice.com.ua and wap.starport.com.ua from phone, customer must set up WAP service via activated GPRS-mode. Those, who use CSD technology, should additionally activate GPRS.
There’s no need to activate and connect «Mobile TV» service additionally — this service is connected to all customers at default.
All that is needed to watch video is handset with «Streaming Video» support. In such a phone one has to set up fitted media-player. For that it is necessary to create data profile using following access points — video.djuice.com.ua, video.ab.kyivstar.net and video.kyivstar.net according to subscription type (DJUICE, prepaid or contract).
The most widespread phones that have such a feature are: Nokia 6230, 6230i, 7610, 7270, 6600, 6170, 6670, 6630, 6680, 8800, 6681, 6270, 6111, N70, N90; SonyEricsson K700, K750, W500, W800 and many others (Samsung, Siemens, Motorola). Handsets that support EDGE technology and while watching video are within EDGE-coverage — will have much better image.
Several phones can be set up automatically or manually, according to phone’s manual.

Charging
- Cost of viewing is indicated separately for every single content unit at wap-page before downloading, approximate cost of minute is from 0.40 to 5.00 UAH.
- Cost of «WAP-cameras» viewing by means of «Mobile TV» service is 1.00 UAH/min.
- Cost of O-TV channel viewing by means of «Mobile TV» service is 0.40 UAH/min.
Attention! All Êyivstar subscribers while viewing content with the help of «Mobile TV» service should look after correct end of viewing. According to the rules of providing «Mobile TV» service if subscriber finishes (interrupts) viewing of «Mobile TV» incorrectly (presses the button of call end, appears out of the network coverage, answers to incoming call or in case if accumulator battery will be discharged, etc.), charging would stop within 10 seconds. |
