Direct city number

In consequence of the changes in regulatory situation at telecommunications market and assumption of several normative acts all mobile operators were prohibited to use fixed numbers for mobile communication services. As Kyivstar always implicitly carries out orders of existing legislation, it is obliged to stop providing of «Direct number» service from September 1, 2007.

To eliminate possible inconvenience Kyivstar launched new fixed communications service called «Direct city number». For activating «Direct city number» fixed communication service subscriber should sign a contract for fixed communication services. Cost of call redirection from «Direct city number» service fixed number to mobile number for all subscribers, including those who use «Unlimited» and «Business Unlimited» tariff packages, is UAH 1,20 per minute of redirected call (including VAT). «Direct city number» service charging principle is per second.

Kyivstar emphasizes that following changes in contract subscribers’ service, who use «direct» numbers, are consequence of changes in legal field, where Ukrainian mobile operators work. If new conditions doesn’t satisfy subscriber, he can stop using service at any time by submitting an application to any Kyivstar Customer Care Center or Company’s direct sales department.
