Internet 3G

With the help of «Internet 3G» service Kyivstar subscribers can use 3G high-speed data transfer service. Maximum speed of data transfer is 3,6 Mbit/s*.

To use «Internet 3G» service one should:

Get special «Internet 3G» SIM-card at the nearest Customer Care center (complete an agreement about mobile communication services accordance);
have phone or modem with support of 3G standard (UMTS 2100 MHz, better with HSDPA);
register phone/modem in «Utel» network using manual mode;
create a remote connection with «3g.kyivstar.net» or www.kyivstar.net as access point;
set-up Internet connection.

Tariffs are indicated including VAT; additional Pension fund fee is 7.5% of service cost excluding VAT.

¹ Monthly subscriber’s fee is charged next day after connection and then every first day of each month.

If subscriber registers phone/modem in Kyivstar network, he will have Internet access via GPRS (up to 85 Kbit/s) or EDGE (up to 235 Kbit/s) all over Ukraine. In this case Internet access tarification using 3g.kyivstar.net or www.kyivstar.net charges separately from «Mobile Internet 3G» tariffing (please refer to the following table).

Also registered in Kyivstar network subscribers will have a possibility to use «Mobile Internet XL», «WAP-access to Internet via GPRS» and «Traditional access to Internet via GPRS» with following tariffs:

All Tariffs are indicated including VAT; additional Pension fund fee is 7.5% of service cost excluding VAT.

2 Subscriber’s fee is charged automatically next day after first service using during one day.

3 Tarification as follows: UAH 0,01 is charged after beginning of data sending/receiving regardless of data amount; UAH 0,04 is charged after sending/receiving 1 Mb of data.

4 Services are available to subscriber after the phone / modem registration in Kyivstar network.

Following rules of tarification are applied for all period of service using for every separate Mb of data regardless of data amount.

Attention! While using Internet 3G SIM-card all other services except indicated above will be blocked.

Service using in Utel network

If subscriber registers phone/modem in 3G Utel network, he will have opportunity to use Internet 3G service. It will be possible to use «USSD balance checking» and «USSD balance replenishing» in both networks and also get incoming text messages. All other services will be unavailable.

Internet 3G setting up

To use service it is necessary:

to search for available networks in phone/modem settings using manual mode and select "UTEL«/ «255—07», «UA-07», «UKR-07». If following options are absent, it means that Utel has no coverage in this specific place or phone/modem doesn’t support 3G;
create remone connection in a PC via 3g.kyivstar.net or www.kyivstar.net access point.

Balance checking and account replenishing

Subscriber can get information about remaining free traffic and check his balance via My Kyivstar selfcare system;
Subscriber can check his balance sending *111# USSD-request;
Subscriber can get information about remaining free traffic sending *122# USSD-request.
Subscriber can replenish his account with all available methods (USSD *123#, «My Kyivstar, bank charges) except IVR service.

Tariffs for service using in networks of roaming partners

Internet 3G service is unavailable in the networks of Kyivstar roaming partners. While being in roaming subscriber can use data transfer services (including data transfer via 3g.kyivstar.net or www.kyivstar.net) with charging according to the subscriber’s tariff plan.

Additional conditions

Attention! While using Internet 3G SIM-card all other services, including voice services (except indicated above) will be blocked.
Kyivstar reserves to itself right to stop service providing in Utel network. In this case all subscribers will be informed. From that moment there will be available only data transfer service in Kyivstar network.
